United Sports Brands (USB), a highly profitable, multi-brand sports company with brands like McDavid, Shock Doctor, Cutters, Nathan, and XO Athletic, wanted to optimize their organization for growth. They approached GO to help the meet this objective.
Approach
GO worked closely with USB’s leadership team to understand their capabilities, identify “pain points,” and evaluate organization structures build for growth. Additionally, the GO GROWTM strategic planning method was implemented to help USB zero in on key strategic growth initiatives and an action plan to achieve them.
Results
USB’s organization shifted from a “category” based model to a “brand champion” based model, creating more ownership and pride in each of their brands, setting them up for growth. Five focused, actionable measurable strategic growth initiatives were developed with their leadership team for immediate implementation.
